A hydrotherapy spa bath makes bathing a pleasurable experience, with sensory lighting, jacuzzi bubble system, and an in-built chair (to gently lift and lower.) This is just one of the attributes Hummingbird has to offer.Newly built State-of-the-Art facilities bring Hummingbird directly into the Twenty First Century, whilst still maintaining that appeal for nostalgia.
Our living areas are predominantly open plan, giving an atmosphere of light and space. Enter the spacious front porch of Hummingbird, a warm and attractive atmospheric area drenched in light and benefiting from under floor heating. This leads through to reception and snug/ library, boasting a beautiful rustic wood burner. An impressive dining room big enough to cater for everyday meals and as a function room sweeps into a quiet lounge area possessing a Boudoir Grande Piano for entertainment evenings. The large kitchen is host to a fully accessible living-kitchen to give re-enablement to any resident wishing to cook, adjoined to the main ultra-modern kitchen with dry store.
As well as an in-built Call System, we also encourage the use of our personalised Neck or Wrist Alarm Pendants for extra safety. We go the extra mile to make our residents feel safe and valued, and pride ourselves on our quick response times to calls whether day or night; we have a dedicated, highly qualified team to deliver this standard.
Outside we have a south facing raised terrace overlooking a delightful garden with raised beds, a quiet area and potting shed/ summer house.
Our living kitchen provides for the re-enablement of residents. It is a place full of sunshine whilst being calm and tranquil. Here they may cook meals from their own grown vegetables from our raised beds, or leisurely make a cup of tea, and enjoy it whilst overlooking the gardens.
Hummingbird provides each room with a telephone point, DAB Radio, Sky connection and fully profiling bed. Other facilities include a lift, laundry service and ample parking.
